  • Departments for Enrollment : Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering, the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, College of Engineering, and the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, College of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

★ Upon completion of the program, graduates will be conferred the degree of Bachelor of Engineering.

Eligibility for Application

  • Academic Performance:In principle, a high school academic average of 70 points or above (7.0 or above on a 10-point scale) is required. However, students with an average of 65 points or above (6.5 or above) are also encouraged to apply. For current high school graduates, the average academic performance from the first five semesters will be reviewed.

  • Language Proficiency : Possessing a TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) Level A1 or above is preferred.

Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees

  • Students who pass both academic and conduct evaluations, comply with school regulations, and complete registration upon approval.

  • Tuition fees are waived for the first and second years (semesters 1–4).

  • Students who do not achieve a TOCFL Level 2 (A2) or higher by the end of the second semester will be dismissed and will not receive any tuition or miscellaneous fee subsidies.

  • The tuition and miscellaneous fee standards for the 2024 academic year are for reference only (in New Taiwan Dollars). The actual fees will be based on the official fee standards announced for that year.:Link

Course Arrangement Features

  • Classes are conducted in a specialized program format.

  • All courses are taught in Mandarin.

  • A certain percentage of practical (hands-on) courses are incorporated into the curriculum.

  • Customized on-campus teaching programs are offered.

  • Customized On-Campus Teaching Curriculum

  • Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science - Internship courses plan:Semesters 1–3: Theoretical courses on campus, Semesters 4–8: Required and elective off-campus internship courses.

  • Department of Chemical and Material Engineering - Internship plan:Semesters 1–4: Theoretical courses on campus, Semesters 5–8: Required and elective off-campus internship courses.

  • Free Mandarin courses (at least 15 credits) and free Mandarin tutoring sessions are provided.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

  • Admission and Academic Scholarships :

    • New students who complete registration will receive NTD 15,000 (approximately USD 468) for the first semester of their first year.

    • Students who pass both academic and conduct evaluations, comply with school regulations, and complete registration after approval will receive NTD 15,000 (approximately USD 468) for the second semester. The total amount for the year will be NTD 30,000 (approximately USD 936).

★Note: This scholarship will first be used to offset the school accommodation fees, with any remaining funds being disbursed as additional assistance.

  • Internship Stipend:
    Students successfully matched with internship partners will be arranged for off-campus internship courses, working 3–5 days per week (with a total weekly work and internship limit of 40 hours). If an internship match is unsuccessful or the internship course cannot be completed, students will be assigned on-campus professional courses without an internship stipend.

★Note: The internship stipend will comply with the Labor Standards Act, with the hourly wage not lower than NTD 183 or the minimum monthly salary not lower than NTD 27,470 (approximately USD 858). The stipend calculation (whether hourly or monthly) will be based on the regulations set by the cooperating company.

Registration and Enrollment

  • Admitted students must complete the registration procedures at the Office of International Affairs.

  • Admitted students must follow the instructions in the admission notice to complete the registration process. The following documents must be submitted at the time of registration. Failure to submit the required documents will result in the cancellation of the registration and admission.

    • Passport (original for verification, returned afterward) and one photocopy of the Republic of China visa page.

    • One original copy of the academic diploma or an equivalent qualification certificate (verified by the Taiwanese embassy or relevant authority in the country where the degree was awarded; if the diploma was issued by a Taiwanese institution, no verification by an embassy is required).

    • One original copy of the official transcript for all years of the highest degree (verified by the Taiwanese embassy or relevant authority in the country where the transcript was issued; if the transcript was issued by a Taiwanese institution, no verification by an embassy is required).

  • Proof of Financial Resources:

  1. Proof of financial resources issued by a financial institution within the past 3 months (showing at least USD 1,000), or a certificate proving full scholarship support provided by the government, higher education institutions, or private organizations.

  2. The financial proof for applicants must meet the following criteria: it must be issued by a bank or other financial institution as a deposit certificate, and can be in the form of either a current or fixed deposit. If the financial proof is under the applicant's name, it must be stamped by the bank. If the proof is under the parent's name, notarized documents must also be provided. However, if the applicant has proof of a full scholarship provided by the government, an educational institution, or a private organization, this additional financial proof is not required.

  • Health Examination Certificate

    1. The health examination certificate must be issued by a hospital within the past 6 months.

    2. It can be submitted after the admission is confirmed, during registration. Failure to submit the certificate will result in the cancellation of the admission. Students who fail the health examination will be handled according to the relevant regulations under the "Immigration Act" and "Regulations Governing the Stay, Residence, and Permanent Residence of Foreigners."

►Dormitory Arrangements

  • For first-year students, the school will arrange a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Dormitory room assignments will depend on the availability of rooms at the time.

  • First-year dormitory fees :

    • a four-person room in Qinyi Dormitory costs NTD 9,900 per semester, while a three-person room costs NTD 12,000 per semester. Dormitory arrangements do not include the summer and winter break periods; if students need to stay in the dormitory during these breaks, additional accommodation fees will apply.
