The definition of overseas internship

  1. According to the regulations for the establishment of off-campus internship programs, Section 4(2) requires interns to complete their internships continuously at the same institution.

  2. According to Section 4(5) of the regulations, internships should preferably take place in overseas regions outside the mainland or on large commercial ships sailing in international waters. Priority should be given to enterprises and institutions (including branch offices) established by Taiwanese businesses in advanced or potentially developing overseas locations.
